Get a new perspective on your business with a H&S sign audit from our team.

Why are Safety Signs so important to your company?

Safety signs are required where, despite putting in place all other relevant measures, a possible risk to the health and safety of employees and others remains.  Signs must be clear and legible, and should be used to identify actions like prohibited access, safeguards such as ear protection should be worn, to give hazard warnings like corrosive material risk or for giving directional information like fire exits or first-aid equipment.

An employer is legally required to comply with the Health & Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996, an EU Directive designed to harmonise signs across the EU so that safety signs will have the same meaning in all the countries they are used in.

Non-existent or non-compliant safety signs mean that your company is not only risking potential fines by the Health & Safety Executive but you are also compromising the safety of your employees, your visitors and your clients.
